Starting in winter 2026-2027, Air Canada will strengthen its presence in the Guadeloupe Islands with a direct route between Quebec City and Pointe-à-Pitre. This new service will further improve the destination’s accessibility from the Canadian market.
From December 17, 2026, to April 8, 2027, the airline will offer one direct flight every Thursday from Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), for a total of 17 round trips throughout the season. Flights are already available for booking and will be operated aboard an Airbus A220-300, featuring 12 Business Class seats and 125 Economy Class seats.
Stronger connectivity with Canada
This new schedule complements Air Canada’s services from Montreal, as well as the Toronto route, launched in December 2025 and renewed for the 2026-2027 winter season. Air Canada will therefore serve three Canadian cities from Pointe-à-Pitre, with up to eight weekly flights to Canada.
The development of this route reflects the Quebec market’s interest in the Guadeloupe Islands and helps strengthen tourism exchanges between the destination and North America. Promotional initiatives will notably be implemented by the Guadeloupe Islands Tourism Board to support the development of this service.
