Pôle Caraïbes
Guadeloupe Islands International Airport located in Les Abymes was inaugurated on April 14, 1996. Formerly named Pointe-à-Pitre – Le Raizet Airport and became Pôle Caraïbes Airport.
Composed of a Terminal for international destinations (T1) and a Terminal for regional destinations (T2) inaugurated on June 30, 2014.
Latest news
In 2022, T1 should undergo expansion and modernization work aimed at increasing the terminal's reception capacity and tending towards a substantial improvement in the level of service.
Among the airports of the Lesser Antilles, it ranks 2nd.
The airport is connected to Basse-Terre and the Pointoise agglomeration via the National Road N11.
