Guadeloupe is an archipelago made up of six main islands — Basse-Terre, Grande-Terre, La Désirade, Les Saintes, Marie-Galante — along with a multitude of smaller islets.

Often described as little slices of paradise, our islands are blessed with an extraordinary natural heritage, remarkable both in diversity and beauty.

Beyond that, each island — shaped by its activities, its people, its surprising landscapes, culture, and traditions — offers an invitation to live new and unique experiences.

Grande-Terre

Grande-Terre captivates with its diverse landscapes and wealth of experiences. It’s the land of white-sand beaches and turquoise lagoons, perfect for family swimming or simply relaxing, but also of dramatic cliffs and world-class spots for surfing and kitesurfing.

When it comes to activities, your clients can combine cultural strolls, shopping, and colorful markets in Pointe-à-Pitre, or enjoy the casino and marina in Saint-François. And when the sun goes down, Grande-Terre comes alive: Creole restaurants bursting with flavor, music-filled evenings, night markets, and festive events.

Grande-Terre

La Grande-Terre, Fascinante, offre ses plages, falaises, mornes, champs, mais aussi des sorties nocturnes
musicales ou gustatives…

Basse-Terre

Basse-Terre enchants with its wild, generous nature: the imposing La Soufrière volcano, lush tropical forests, refreshing waterfalls, and secluded beaches with golden or black sand. It’s the ultimate “soft adventure” destination: morning hikes through the National Park, river swimming, relaxing moments in hot springs, and full immersion in dense, unspoiled vegetation.

On the cultural side, your clients can explore authentic Creole villages, visit coffee or cocoa plantations, stroll through local markets, or discover historical heritage sites such as Fort Delgrès in Basse-Terre town. For ocean lovers, diving and snorkeling around the Pigeon Islets, as well as boat excursions, reveal breathtaking marine landscapes.

LA DÉSIRADE

La Désirade charms with its discreet, unspoiled beauty. Accessible by boat from Saint-François (about 45 minutes), it offers an authentic and peaceful atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of large resort towns. Wild beaches lined with casuarina trees, arid landscapes contrasting with the turquoise sea, and small fishing villages — everything here breathes simplicity and authenticity.

Your clients will enjoy bike rides or scenic drives along the island’s single road, exploring preserved diving and snorkeling spots, and relaxing at the locals’ pace.

👉 An ideal getaway to recommend for a day trip or a short stay — perfect for travelers seeking disconnection and raw nature.

LA DÉSIRADE

Avec sa réserve géologique,
la Désirade âgée de plus de 145 millions d’années, est la Surprenante gardienne du temps et permet de revenir à l’origine du monde, à pieds ou à vélo.

Marie-Galante

Nicknamed “the Island of a Hundred Windmills”, Marie-Galante enchants visitors with its authentic landscapes and timeless atmosphere. Accessible by boat from Pointe-à-Pitre, Saint-François, or even Les Saintes, it invites travelers to slow down and embrace the gentle pace of Creole life.

Your clients will discover vast unspoiled beaches, renowned distilleries producing exceptional rums, historic windmills, and peaceful villages where time seems to stand still. Between swimming, cultural visits, and tastings, Marie-Galante is the perfect getaway for a day excursion… or even better, a longer stay to fully enjoy its authentic charm.

Terre-de-Haut

At the heart of the Saintes archipelago, Terre-de-Haut is the most visited and iconic island. Accessible by boat from Trois-Rivières, Pointe-à-Pitre, Saint-François, or Bouillante, it captivates with its bay — ranked among the most beautiful in the world — and its colorful, welcoming fishing village atmosphere.

Your clients can stroll through lively streets, hike up to Fort Napoléon for breathtaking views, taste the famous “tourment d’amour” pastry, or simply relax on Pompierre Beach.

Terre-de-Bas

Less well-known than its neighbor Terre-de-Haut, Terre-de-Bas is part of the Saintes archipelago and offers a more authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience. Accessible by boat from Terre-de-Haut or directly from Trois-Rivières, it charms visitors with its preserved character, lush forests, hiking trails, and quiet little coves.

Your clients will find a peaceful atmosphere here — ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of tourist areas. Between nature walks, discovering local crafts (such as the traditional cachiman work used to make mattresses), and warm encounters with locals, Terre-de-Bas is an intimate and refreshing getaway.
