Expert of the month «Guadeloupe Islands»:

I had the pleasure of rediscovering the beautiful destination that is Guadeloupe at the end of November 2024 thanks to the educational tour ‘Secrets of the Guadeloupe Islands.’ My first visit dated back to 2009.

This trip allowed me to create new memories. My favorite remains Basse-Terre and its lush, unspoiled nature, although Grande-Terre also has many highlights, such as Pointe des Châteaux and the paradisiacal Souffleur Beach in Port-Louis.

And what can be said about Les Saintes and the breathtaking view from Fort Napoléon, simply magical!

Guadeloupe is also about its gastronomy, with accras, blood sausages, grilled fish, colombo dishes… not to mention the rum!

I highly recommend visiting the Maison du Cacao and the Bologne distillery; both were extremely interesting.
